malaga.bike is obliged to provide complete and truthful information about the condition of each product and to answer any related queries.
malaga.bike is obliged to deliver the product in full working condition, being exempt from any responsibility in relation to possible breakages or defects of the product produced after the delivery of the product to the customer and that have been caused directly by the customer due to improper use of the product.
malaga.bike does not assume responsibility for errors or damages caused by an inefficient and bad faith use of the service by the customer, or by the falsity of the data entered by the customer at the time of the formalization of the order.
malaga.bike is not liable for delays or failures in performance due to force majeure events, such as strikes, natural disasters, or delays caused by third-party suppliers.
malaga.bike is not responsible for any damages resulting from improper use of the product or from repairs or modifications carried out by third parties after purchase.
Responsibility of the customer
The customer is obliged to provide all necessary and true information in order to proceed with the sale or enquiry.
It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that the bicycle model they intend to purchase meets their needs and to verify the correct size on the bicycle manufacturer’s website.
The customer is required to promptly inform malaga.bike of any changes to their contact details.
An incorrect selection of the bicycle model or size does not automatically entitle the customer to a return or exchange.
Product Availability & Pre-Orders
All bicycle pre-orders are subject to availability from our suppliers. While we make every effort to fulfill pre-orders, we cannot guarantee the availability of any specific product. In the event that a pre-ordered item becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, we will notify you as soon as possible and provide options, which may include an alternative product, a revised delivery timeline, or a full refund. We are not responsible for any inconvenience or losses resulting from supplier unavailability.
Test drive
The test ride is conducted as a regular 1-day rental. The customer must sign the contract, leave the deposit, and accept all bike2malaga rental conditions listed in the terms and conditions on that page.
If the customer decides to purchase the tested bicycle after the test ride, the rental fee is deducted from the final purchase price of that specific product.
However, if the customer chooses a different model after the test ride, the rental fee is non-refundable and will not be deducted from the price of the new model.
Payments
You can pay in cash, by credit card, or by bank transfer. In the case of a bank transfer, transaction costs for non-EU countries are to be paid by the buyer. Payment is considered complete when the full amount reaches the malaga.bike account.
Cryptocurrencies or other alternative payment methods are not accepted.
For credit card payments, any fees charged by the payment provider are to be borne by the buyer.
For bank transfers, processing times may vary depending on the bank.
Delivery of the bicycle
We deliver the bicycles personally to our physical shop or ship them to you, depending on prior agreement.
Bicycles will only be delivered or shipped after full payment has been received.
The customer is obliged to report any obvious defects or discrepancies immediately. In the case of shipping, the customer must inspect the packaging and check for visible damage upon delivery. Any damages to the packaging or visible defects must be reported to the delivery service and noted on the delivery receipt at the time of receipt.
If the damage is not documented on the delivery receipt, the responsibility for any transport damage lies solely with the shipping carrier.
Pre-owned bikes
Collection of used bicycles in the shop: we deliver them assembled, checked and adjusted. When picking up the bicycle, the customer confirms that the bicycle is delivered to him in a perfect state for use and that the components of the bicycle correspond to the product description.
Shipping of used bicycles: by agreement.
New bikes
Collection of new bicycles from the shop: assembled and adjusted, or according to agreement.
Delivery of new bicycles: in the manufacturer’s original condition.

Order processing time
Pickup in store
Orders placed for in-store pickup will only be available after receiving confirmation from us that the bicycle is ready for pickup. The processing time may take from 1 to several days, depending on stock availability and order volume. Customers will be notified via email once their order is ready for pickup.
When picking up an order, customers must present a valid ID and a copy of the confirmation email. Orders will not be released without these documents.
Please wait for our confirmation before coming to the store. We are not responsible for any inconvenience caused by arriving before receiving pickup confirmation.
Delivery via postal service
For bicycles shipped via postal service, processing will take from 1 to several days. Once your order is ready for shipment, we will send you a tracking number. Please note that delivery times after shipping depend on the postal service and destination, and can vary.
We are not responsible for delays caused by the postal service or any issues related to shipping after the package has been dispatched.

The recipient is responsible for checking the delivery note and verifying that the contents match the goods received upon delivery. The recipient must inspect the package for any visible damage and report any issues by noting them on the delivery receipt at the time of delivery. If the product is deemed to be in poor condition, the recipient must clearly describe the issue in writing on the carrier’s delivery note and take photographs as evidence (general statements like “pending inspection” are not valid).
Once this procedure has been completed and an issue has been identified, the recipient must notify malaga.bike (bike@malaga.bike) within 24 hours of receipt, attaching a copy of the delivery note with the incident noted, as well as supporting photographs.
Failure to comply with these steps releases malaga.bike from any liability for shipping damage.
Any applicable import duties and taxes are the responsibility of the buyer.
Shipping costs are non-refundable if the customer decides to return the bicycle, except in cases where the product is defective.
Shipping times may vary, and delays beyond the control of malaga.bike (e.g., customs processing, carrier delays) are possible.
Return
According to the law, the customer has the right to cancel the purchase within 14 calendar days after delivery of the product. To exercise this right, the buyer must first contact malaga.bike to arrange the return and obtain a return authorization number or confirmation. Returns must be coordinated with malaga.bike in advance.
The buyer must deliver the product to the malaga.bike workshop in perfect condition for validation of its state by the company. malaga.bike will not accept returns if there are clear signs of use by the buyer or if the product is returned with damage or modifications that were not present at the time of delivery.
New bicycles can only be returned if they are completely unused. malaga.bike does not accept returns of new bicycles with any marks of use.
Used bicycles can be returned only in the same condition as at the time of delivery. malaga.bike does not accept returns of used bicycles with new marks of use, signs of misuse, or technical modifications made outside our facilities.
For shipped orders, return shipping costs are borne by the buyer, unless the product is defective. In such cases, malaga.bike will cover the return shipping costs.
In all cases, the refund will be processed only after the bicycle arrives at our facilities and is inspected by our mechanics. If the bicycle meets the return conditions, the full amount paid by the buyer will be refunded. Refunds for credit card payments will be processed via the original payment method, and the processing time may vary depending on the bank, taking several business days.
For online purchases, malaga.bike refunds the payment according to the original payment method. However, for in-person purchases, instead of a refund, the company offers the option of an exchange for an item of equal or lesser value or a voucher valid for six months, provided the product is in good condition and has not been damaged or modified.
The bicycle must be returned in a well-sealed and properly protected box to minimize the risk of damage during return transport. The best option is to use the original packaging. If the bicycle is returned in defective packaging or suffers scratches/damage due to improper packaging, we will not accept the return and will return the bicycle at the customer’s expense. malaga.bike does not assume responsibility for damages occurring during return shipping.
To initiate the return process, the buyer must notify malaga.bike in writing at bike@malaga.bike within 14 days of receipt of the product and wait for confirmation before proceeding with the return.
Warranty conditions
All bicycles leave our premises inspected and in perfect condition. For used bicycles, we replace all worn parts during the inspection process whenever the bicycle needs it. In addition, we carry out a complete lubrication and adjustment before sale.
malaga.bike offers to all its customers a guarantee in accordance with the current legislation in the terms established for second-hand products, for a period of 1 year from the delivery of the bicycle, and a guarantee in accordance with the current legislation in the terms established for new products, for a period of 3 years from the delivery of the bicycle.
Components such as suspension forks, shock absorbers and telescopic seatposts have a reduced warranty of 6 months subject to the need for periodic maintenance required by the manufacturer within that period for new products and 3 months for second-hand products. The warranty will not be valid if the faults or damage to the bicycle are due to incorrect use of the product, knocks or falls, or lack of maintenance of the product. The warranty is non-transferable and will only cover the purchaser of the product at malaga.bike. The warranty shall consist of the repair free of charge of any fault, defect or defective component, provided that such defects do not arise from the misuse of the bicycle or its parts. The material to be replaced as part of the warranty will be exchanged for the same or the same range from another manufacturer whenever possible. malaga.bike reserves the right to mount a lower range material when it is discontinued, out of stock or out of stock in the usual distributors. Not covered under warranty are defects or paint marks and the replacement of wear items such as pads, tyres, chains, chainrings, chainwheels, sprockets, spokes, wheel centring and bearings, among others.
malaga.bike will not pay any guarantee for a repair carried out outside its facilities, as long as it has not been previously approved by the company. Similarly, if a bicycle has been disassembled or manipulated by an external workshop prior to the review by malaga.bike, the company will not be responsible for the warranty due to the impossibility of validating whether the incident could be the result of this process.
All actions related to the warranty will be managed through the Customer Service Department, who will inform our customers in detail how to proceed for the management of the same.
